ADUs vs. short-term rentals in Lloyd

Short-term rentals restricted for Town of Lloyd. Short-term rental use requires a Special Use Permit from the Zoning Board of Appeals in the Town of Lloyd. This is a discretionary approval — not guaranteed. Contact Town of Lloyd at (845) 691-2144 before purchasing with STR income as a primary assumption. These are separate questions from whether you can build an ADU — a unit you're allowed to add isn't automatically one you're allowed to rent nightly, so check both. Municipal source
